JPS Teacher Grants

One of the primary objectives of the Jenison Public Education Foundation
is secure funds for teachers to enhance student learning.
Grants for up to $1,000. are awarded to 10-15 educators each year.

A few of the projects and plans that recently received funding
are detailed below.

INSPIRING our teachers & students to DREAM BIG
INVESTING in our STUDENTS’ SUCCESS
IMPACTING our STUDENTS’ FUTURES and the world in which we live!
One small example of what we do!

I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for saying "yes" to my grant request last summer! The Parent Resources Library was a huge hit in its first year at Kids First!
With your grant funding, I was able to purchase bookshelves, supplies and 21 books to get the library started. In February, I started a Donors Choose campaign and in less than 24 hours, I was able to purchase another 15 books!

Books have gone home for about 20 families, multiple classrooms, and serviced not only our preschool kiddos, but up to 1st grade as well. Every category has been accessed: death/illness, divorce/incarceration, behavior, sibling rivalry, emotional management and even books on Covid. I am very proud of the library and I couldn't have done it without your help!
